Istanbul has been and still is a city where many different cultures and ethnics live together: Greeks, Armenians, Italians, French, Judes and Turks.
In this tour you will have the chance to explore the multiple faces and tastes of this unique “Meltin’Pot”, where for centuries peoples of different religions and cultures lived together, developing a very dynamic community.
The tour will take place on the areas of Beyoğlu, Karaköy, Cihangir and Tophane, located on the northern side of the Golden Horn. Before the unification of Constantinople, this area was an independent city called ‘Pera’, and populated mostly of non-Turk communities, in particular Italians, Armenians and Judes.
This tour, designed for small groups (max 7 persons) will bring you behind the facades of the city: you will also try numerous typical foods, visit non-touristic areas and discover hidden places that a normal tourist can not find. With this tour you will have a total different perspective of the city.
